Ibrahim is an associate in the firm’s Construction and Insurance Team. He completed his articles at a leading South African law firm in 2024, was admitted as an attorney of the High Court shortly thereafter and joined Cox Yeats in 2025.
Ibrahim’s practice spans a broad range of commercial litigation, including contractual disputes, infrastructure-related claims and personal injury matters. He is also experienced in drafting various sets of commercial agreements.
A committed governance professional, Ibrahim is a member of the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa and has advised on regulatory frameworks such as POPIA, FICA and ISO 37301.
He is presently completing a Master of Laws in Medical Law, with a dissertation exploring the legal and ethical implications of human germline editing in South Africa, reflecting his interest in the intersection of advanced science, compliance and litigation.
